Convenient storage solution. I use this everyday since it’s still (for now) a cheaper and faster alternative to cloud backup. I managed to snag this for a relative bargain. But I can’t help but feel like these drives are headed for extinction. Fortunately, for my uses, I am sure that I can get at least 5 years out of the drive before it becomes irrelevant. I have managed to store about 100GB of music on the drive which is essentially what I had intended for this product. I have not run any apps or programs off of it, but I…

Nice drive, pretty fast Nice drive, pretty fast. The slide action is positive and clicks when it’s fully closed or extended. Formatted it to NTFS (came formatted to exFAT), tested with Atto – 104MB/sec read, 81MB/sec write on Windows 10 pro 64-bit and USB 3.0.
